We flew into Fort Lauderdale, spent a few days on the beach at Howard Johnson's, then drove to Key West. On the way back, we stopped at a nightmare of a motel in Islamorada, and left immediately for Ft. Lauderdale again. We've never bought a Mobil travel guide again.

Next stop, Cuba!

We stayed at the Blue Marlin Motel in a nice efficiency. Cooked our own shrimp and ate 'em by the pool.
