Day 4
Called for tickets to Oliver this morning, I didn't get them, since they were 85 pds each, talked to Dave and decided to go for it since it was Oliver and when will we be back to London. Hopefully we get them tomorrow. We then left for the Tower of London since the weather was quite nice. Toured around for 3 hours. K liked the crown jewels. I was telling Dave I don't really remember them when we saw them 20 years ago (maybe more). I thought my ring was quite exquisite........ I liked the suits of armor.

I wanted to head over to Kensington palace, but K was tired and her feet hurt. I know the feeling! So we went to Leicester square to see if there were any tickets for plays, but decided against it since they weren't that cheap and if I'm going to pay 85 pds, I'll do it for Oliver. I'll wait.
We then headed towards Trafalgar Square and were going to take the tube back but my Oyster pass ran out and no human at the station and I didn't know how to use the kiosk. So we cabbed it to Picadilly Circus and walked to Shepard's Market and walked around, K complaining the whole time her feet hurt. We then headed home and stopped and picked up some provisions (ICE CREAM!!!). K wasn't quite so tired anymore.

We were home about 4:00, which for us is early, but our feet and legs were tired. I told Dave I should have bought a pedometer. We have been walking so much!!! Even transferring between the tube stations. Today we actually walked to a whole other station to transfer. We took a 2 hour break and chatted with Dave. The internet is an amazing thing. I can contact Dave via the internet and he'll call about 2 minutes later. It's the greatest thing.

fter the 2 hour break we walked around the neighborhood for about a half hour. Dave found a pub online, but when we got there it looked more like a bar, so we headed towards Shepard's Market. K wanted Italian. We actually went to a tiny little restaurant that Dave and I went 12 years ago. I think we even sat at the same table. Maybe we'll try the Polish/Mexican restaurant (I'm not kidding) tomorrow. I wasn't planning to eat dinner out but since lunch has been 10 pds or less I thought we could do dinner out.

Tomorrow we're planning to go to Hampton Court. Hopefully the weather will be like it was today.
