Day 16 - St. George, UT

OK, remind me to never retire in St. George, UT. It’s noon and 110 degrees. I don’t care what they say about dry heat, it’s hot as hell. Unbearable. And for some reason, no pools in Utah seem to be equipped with shade. It’s like opening the door to the oven.
Girls went out to find the best pool, there are none. The big indoor-outdoor supposedly has no shade. Maybe we’ll go back to our small pool close by after lunch. It’s 76 here inside, Jill is packing, Dave is charging and uploading and doing the diary.
...
We ended up at the pool for a couple of hours. Water too warm, but that made the ridiculous air temperature bearable.
By the time we went to Don Pedro’s for a good and cheap Mexican meal, it was 113 degrees. And apparently I was also dehydrated; it took me a couple of hours and about a gallon of water to recover. Get me out of here!
Last night of the trip and watching a Harry Potter movie.
