Day 5
Today we went out to Hampton Court. WHAT A HASSLE! Almost 2 hours there. We took the underground to Wimbledon and then National Rail to Hampton Court. I didn't realize we had to change rail lines. Too much time on the train! I'm actually getting tired of the trains. I feel like that we're constantly on the train. Next time we'll bring Purell!!!! I feel grotty!

The gardens were lovely and Kristen had her picture taken on the same pedestal that DAVE stood on 20 years ago.
Took the train (again) to Covent Garden to the Royal Theatre Drury Lane. I believe it might be the oldest theatre in London. It also burnt down 2 or 3 times and had attempted murders on a king.
The play was fantastic! Couldn't believe we were in the 1st row, and only 60 pds! The actors came out from the stage, around the orchestra, they we're 3 feet from us. "Mr Bean" was not Fagin another actor was. I think he was probably better. We could not picture Mr Bean as Fagin and his reviews weren't that good. Turns out the actor Russ Abbott was the original Fagin when Oliver first opened. He's amazing!
We went to Covent Garden planning on having dinner. We were there on Sunday when the theatre is closed and not many people, so we didn't think. Duh! (Or should I say I didn't think). That's one of the hardest parts of this trip, I decide on everything! We wound up with take out, it was ok.
We got home about 10:20 and were all keyed up so decided to stay up for a while. Tried to go to bed at 11:30. We laid there about 20 minutes and were wide awake. So we got up. Now I'm typing day 5 and it's 12:15 and K is saying I think I'm tired now.
Tomorrow it's Kensington Palace, We forgot St Paul's the other day so want to try and go there.
